FAQs

A mission trip is a time where your team serves alongside us, mostly by helping in our existing programs—like kids church, youth activities, outreach, and practical projects.
It’s a chance to see what God is doing in Cambodia, grow in faith, and bring fresh encouragement back to your own church and community.
Your team comes with a leader who cares for the group and guides the preparation.
This leader will meet with the team at least three times before the trip for prayer, team building, and outreach training, so everyone feels ready and confident.
It’s not a camp, but a purposeful, hands-on adventure where you make a real impact and discover how God can work through you.

Teams usually arrive Sunday, rest the first Monday, and begin Tuesday with orientation, outreach, and practical service like children’s church, teaching English, or maintenance. On the second Monday, they have time to explore Angkor Wat, Cambodian culture, the countryside, local markets, and enjoy sightseeing. The trip ends with a Tuesday wrap-up of gratitude and testimony sharing before departure Tuesday night or Wednesday.

Our team creates the schedule. We are open to your ideas but aim to place mission teams where they can serve best.

Cambodia is very safe for travelers, especially in the main tourist places like Siem Reap (home of Angkor Wat), Phnom Penh and other popular areas. Millions of people visit every year and most have a great time with no problems. Many travel guides and travel sites say Cambodia is generally safe and welcoming for visitors.
People here are known for being friendly and helpful, and tourists usually feel comfortable exploring the temples, markets, and cities.
Of course, it’s still good to take simple safety steps — like watching your belongings, being aware of your surroundings, and using common sense — just like anywhere else you travel.

We work with one all-included mission trip package (except flights), so everything is taken care of.

You can enter Cambodia with either a “tourist visa” or an “ordinary visa.” Both can be obtained online, at the airport, or at border crossings. No extra documents are needed. A tourist visa is valid for 3 months and allows you to stay 30 days. We recommend getting it in advance to save time. The cost is approximately USD 40.
-
We encourage modest dress as a sign of respect for the local culture. Shoulders, cleavage, bellies, and knees should be covered. Leggings must be worn with a long shirt or skirt, and see-through clothing should be avoided.
