Your support to our Education Sponsorship enables motivated and high-potential young people to study at a good private school, which opens up opportunities to break the cycle of poverty. The Education Sponsorship Program has a well rounded approach including the opportunity to be part of the working processes at ICF to discover passions and gifts and develop a good working attitude under loving leadership. After high school, our students have the chance to apply for university or further education and stay in our program. They truly flourish together and we are so grateful to see how they grow up to be the next generation of leaders.

Daycare / Kindergarten Program - Since February 2021
Early childhood education is lacking in Cambodia. We like to provide quality education for children before entering school to ensure they have a good start into their education. Our day care provides a safe and loving environment to learn and play. We have taken the first step and started with our staff kids. Our dream is to provide early childhood education to our sponsorship children as well.
Staff Kids Education Support Program - Since Sept 2021
We like to ensure that our staff kids continue to receive quality education and therefore offer Supervised Online School at the ICF Campus in the morning for all ICF Staff Kids. They can have lunch with their parents and in the afternoon, the children can participate in various activities on the campus such as swimming lessons, creative classes and sport activities.
Study Groups - since June 2020
Covid 19 school closures lead to large gaps in education. Young people are starting to work, because we mainly work with very poor families whose kids don’t have access to online schooling and are increasingly unlikely to go back to school. We therefore started Study Groups with our youth in the villages over a year ago, where they provide tutoring in core subjects to children from our Sponsorship Program and neighboring children. Our teenagers work with them four afternoons a week to help them bridge this gap. A win-win for both sides!

Scholarship Program - since 2016
In Cambodia, it is common to learn what your parents work. Encouragement of gifts and talents is not common. Our young people of the Education Sponsorship are allowed to attend a private school and are supported and accompanied holistically in the afternoons. They do an internship with us in different fields to discover their gifts and learn to work reliably. They receive an internship salary because their parents do not want them to go to school but to work and bring money home. In this way we make both education and job possible.
Study Group Leader Program - Since June 2020
Our social staff quickly learned that online teaching is almost impossible in the villages and this need is how the Study Group Leader Program started. Teenagers, from Grade 9 - University come to the ICF campus to attend their online study. After lunch with us, they teach younger children in their villages. Every Tuesday, the Leaders are trained in how to prepare a lesson and how to teach, then together, they prepare and correct the lessons. These leaders also receive a small salary and a food package. This program is empowering teenagers and giving the younger children role models who understand the importance of education.
Adult Education Program
There are hardly any adult education opportunities, many are illiterate. At the same time, we notice a great thirst for education and training. We offer various courses on different topics such as money, leadership, relationships and communication. In this way we empower not only the children but also their parents.
